"Forgotten Greats #3"
Anybody remember the Honda NSX? Of course not, that's why I'm writing about it. The Honda NSX was one of the best supercars you could get, and it also sold for less than a $100,000 (except for the NSX-R). I don't remember what Honda was thinking, but I'm glad they were. The car might have a small V-6 in it's engine bay, but it was faster than you'd think. It was light. Very light. With a chasis that would let you drive the Nurburgring without exploding, the car was known for it's handling. The NSX was the cost alternatinve to Ferrari's, and actually beat Ferrari's. It was also highly tunable. If your smart enough, you could have an 800hp car beating GT-R's. Since the early 2000's the NSX was killed off. This was the last performance car that Honda made. And Honda was planning to make a replacement with a V-10 engine up front. Luckily it was also killed, but not to worry, a new replacement for the replacement is arriving. With a small hybrid V-6 in the middle and super lightweight frame, the car should pay proper homage to the original, but it can't come soon enough...
