"The Final forgotten Great."
Today, my last Greats post will be on a truely forgotten hero. So unloved, a following is nonexistant. (If there is, tell me about it.) A true super car. Rare, fast, pointless, and it looks like a jet. today, I will write about the Vector M12. The M12 was once the fastest car in the world. At a top speed of 212 MPH, the record was surpassed by that of the XJ220, 3 years later. Vector was an American maker, powered by a blown Corvette engine, attatched to a oldsmobile 3 speed AT, and styling inspired by aircraft, it was a truely exotic american car.

However, that would not last. Vector was bought out by Megatech in the late 80's. Megatech (at the time) owned Lamborghini, and thought it was best to redesign the car. And so they did. It looked better, it really did, but at a price. the V8 was replaced by a V12. The original V8 had 794 hp, the Diablo V12 had 490. Speed fell to 192 mph. Vector then disappered for years until now that is. Vector has promised a new supercar called the WX8 and will be better, but I doubt that. So, remember Vector, the automaker that really did make an American statement, and shook the world.
