History and Development

In 1963, AC launched the second generation of the Cobra, which was produced until mid-1965. A total of 528 Mk2 Cobra units were built.

Engine and Transmission

The Mk2 Cobra is powered by a front-mounted Ford V8 engine and is driven by its rear wheels. These cars could produce from 360 to 380 hp and reached their top speed between 163 and 191 mi/h (between 262 and 307 km/h).
A 4-speed manual gearbox fits the Mk2 Cobra’s transmission.
