The first units of the rear-engined A310 were powered by either a 1.6- or a 2.7-liter engine. Later, a GT variant was added with a 2.9-liter displacement.
Such engines produced from 125 from 150 hp, plus the GT’s 193 hp. Initially, they could reach a maximum speed of 137 mi/h (220 km/h), which later increased to 142 mi/h (229 km/h).
The A310 is rear-wheel driven and comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
