The Apollo-Werke nameplate was used to badge an automobile that was built by a company called Ruppe & Son, which was rebaptized Apollo-Werke AG in 1910. Apollo-Werke cars were built between 1910 and 1927 at the German town of Apolda.
Although Apollo-Werke’s cars were relatively low-priced, they presented a pretty acceptable quality and were quite successful in several international racing events of the 1920’s.
