That is the only possible explanation for making a gold and gem-encrusted Tata Nano that retails for $4.6 million. 

While usually the least expensive car in the world, this gold-covered Tata Nano is now among the most expensive. The car is covered with 80kg of 22 karat gold, 15kg of silver and over 10,000 precious gems and stones. 

The car will be on display at Tata-owned jewlry stores.
