has hired its first 64 apprentices for its new factory in San José Chiapa, Mexico. The workers will be trained for mechanic and mechatronic work for the next three years.

For now, Audi's apprentices are being trained at the Institute for Occupational Training of Volkswagen de Mexico in Puebla, Mexico, but Audi plans to build its own training center at the new factory in the future. It is the same curriculum that Audi has used to train workers in Hungary and Belgium.

The lessons for the students include not just theoretical and practical training to do their future work but also German lessons.
