production run is coming to an end in the coming years, and to celebrate the car's success Audi is planning to reveal a second version of the limited edition R8 GTAudi R8 GTGermany, 2010 > present22 photos
that will be the fastest R8 ever put into production. The car is scheduled to be revealed during the lead up for the 24 Hours of Le Mans this week. 

Power will come from a tuned version of the 5.2-liter V10 that will allow for a top speed of around 200mph. To feed air to the improved engine, it will get larger air ducts, a larger front splitter and a larger rear wing

Pricing and official specs for the car will be revealed later in the week. The previous R8 GT could accelerate to 100km/h in 3.6 seconds.
