Bentley is ready to add a new version to the range of the Flying Spur. The new V8 S will stand between the V8 and
W12 in the Flying Spur range and will be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The
Flying Spur V8 S is equipped with the same engine of 4.0 liter of the V8 version, however the engine for the S was retuned and the output increased by 21hp to a total of 528hp. With 680Nm of torque it allows the vehicle to reach 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 306km/h.
Thanks to the introduction of the variable displacement technology that allows to shut off four of the eight cylinders at cruising speeds and reduce fuel consumption, the Bentley Flying Spur V8 S has an average consumption of 10.9l/100km and 254g/km of CO2 emissions. Power is transmitted through an all-wheel drive system.
Bentley updated suspension, damping and electronic stability control to improve the vehicle's handling. The V8 S also received some more sporty design elements, including a black grille radiator, a rear diffuser, the V8 S badging, custom sill plates and 20-inch wheels.
Inside the Flying Spur V8 S gets wood veneer trim in black piano and a sports three-spoke steering wheel.
