but is 25 percent more powerful, while enabling a reduction of 70 per cent in CO2 emissions in comparison to the 6.8 V8 505hp engine on the standard Mulsanne.

So the prototype should have a capacity of approximately 631hp, with more 126hp being supplied by an electric motor. However, Bentley didn't reveal the real numbers of the vehicle. CO2 emissions will be around 118g/km. The British brand has also revealed that the concept, as well as all future plug-in hybrid versions, will have an electric range of more than 50km.

“There is no doubt plug-in hybrid technology is true to Bentley’s values of outstanding luxury and effortless performance,” said Bentley CEO Wolfgang Schreiber. “Combining our renowned engines with electric power reinforces and enhances both principles, and so we will gradually introduce this powertrain across our model range.”

Visually Bentley Hybrid Concept is quite similar to the Mulsanne, but some details have been changed inside and outside. Copper accents were placed in the headlights, grille, brake calipers , feature lines and badges to highlight the electric nature of the vehicle. The same color is used inside on the center console, instruments, and stitching.
