Car Videos to Brighten Your Weekend: Geneva and Sebring Edition

Car Videos to Brighten Your Weekend: Geneva and Sebring Edition

This week's theme is a little of a mixed bag. The big news this week was obviously the Geneva Motor Show. We saw a lot of great cars come from the show. The secret coolest news from this week was that even more cars that will race at the 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday, March 17, were revealed. In the spirit of this news, we have combined them together for our weekly video post. Next week, expect maybe a little more Sebring in this spot, plus a few F1 videos.

Let's cover the Geneva part of this theme first. We have hear a video from the launch of the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta that really puts the super into supercar.

Next up is probably the other biggest car from Geneva, the Lamborghini Aventador J. Everyone will have their preference between these too, but every enthusiast has to admit that they are both very special cars.

Unfortunately, the other big cars out of Geneva did not produce flashy videos like Ferrari and Lamborghini. So there is no slickly produced video of the Gumpert Apollo Enraged. Instead, lets look at what will be racing at Sebring next Saturday.

Okay, okay, the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro will not be at Sebring but give it a listen anyway.

Next up is the Audi's only factory competitor, the Toyota TS030. It might not beat the Audi at Le Mans. In fact if it does, it will be astonishing. Regardless, it sounds a lot better. This is the latest video of the Toyota on track posted on March 7.

And here is the David to the Audi and Toyota's Goliath. The Lola B12/60 LMP1 coupe will likely struggle against the factory cars in the World Endurance Championship, but they will probably fair well in the regional American Le Mans Series and the European Le Mans Series. On the other hand, the B12/80 LMP2 coupe will probably do well everywhere.

Last up is the first view of the new Morgan LMP2, which is not really a Morgan. In 2011, OAK Racing competed with a Pescarolo chassis with the team's own modifications. This season, OAK Racing has further modified that chassis and is calling it a Morgan.

That is all for this week. Let us know what you think in the comments. Have a nice weekend.
