Dodge is just a few months away from revealing its new Viper. The car is most likely going to be revealed at the New York Auto Show in April. Chrysler is actually spinning off the Viper so that it will no longer be a Dodge but badged as an SRT.
As part of the new generation of Viper, SRT has given its logo a redesign, a third in its lifetime. The new logo is called the Stryker, and it strikes a balance between the first and second Viper logos, while also being very aggressive. The Stryker depicts a poisonous snake rearing up to strike.
The original Viper logo has the adorable name of Sneaky Pete. It shows a poisonous snake with its mouth closed looking forward with its head askew. It seems to have a slight grin on its face. It was used from 1992-2002.
The second viper logo called Fangs has a poisonous snake looking straight forward with its mouth wide and ready to bite. It is less charming than the first generation but much more straightforward. It was used from 2003 to 2010.
The newest logo Stryker shows more of a snake with its mouth open ready to strike. It is also by far the most detailed logo that the Viper has used. While previous versions of the logo has shown a very stylized snake, the new logo is far more realistic.
There is still no news about the rebranded SRT Viper's engine but expect details in April during the New York Auto Show.
