Automotive enthusiast and artist Jacek Kołodziejczyk has created this render of his idea of a fictional XX version of the new F12 Berlinetta inspired by the Ferrari 599XX.
Kołodziejczyk who issues his work under the name Iacoski Design pumps the F12 Berlinetta up with copious hood vents, larger fenders, lowered ride height, a large rear wing and massive front splitter.
In the background he has a map of the Nürburgring Nordschleife that says "599XX | 2010 6:58.16 F12XX Berlinetta 6:32.??." The caption is a reference to the Ferrari 599XX setting a Nordschleife lap record on April 21, 2010. In Kołodziejczyk's world the F12XX has lapped the 'Ring 26 seconds faster. That time would make it faster than the Zonda R that did a 6:47.50 lap and took the lap record from the 599XX.
I got into contact with Kołodziejczyk and asked him about what inspires him to create these renders.
"I'm a just modest person who just loves cars and simply all other things connected with automotive industry and racing and from the earliest years of my life I was drawing cars all the time. Firstly on the paper with pencil, than via CGI. Regarding the F12XX project itself, mainly I've chosen that particular car because I'm a huge fan of Ferrari cars in general and I simply felt in love with F12 at first sight and just wanted to see how it would look in track-racing editon. It was project just for fun, so I didn't expect such hype," he said.
You can view the rest of Kołodziejczyk work at his home page for Iacoski Design. He has also made speculative renders of a Ferrari closed-cockpit Formula 1 car, Z4M and RS6 Avant.
There are some photos of the 599XX and F12 Berlinetta in the gallery so you can see more of the cars that inspired this render.
