First McLaren MP4-12Cs arrive in the US

McLaren road cars have never officially been sold in the US. McLaren had a large role in the American Can Am series, but the McLaren F1 was only sold in the US through a company called Ameritech that detuned the F1 and added catalytic converters. It only had a single seat to adhere to airbag rules in the US. 

That means that the MP4-12C will be the first non-Mercedes McLaren that Americans will be able to buy. To celebrate the event, McLaren filmed the first several cars arriving in New York. 

McLaren has 10 dealers in the US. They are all located in the large cities like New York and Los Angeles.
