Honda will be showing at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show a concept based on the
Civic Tourer, a vehicle with equipment designed for cycling lovers.
Among the additional equipment added by Honda to the
Civic Tourer Active are an extensible loading rack with space for two bicycles, which can then retreat into the luggage compartment with 1668 liter capacity. Other additional features include an air pump, additional lighting, additional coverage with a retractable seat and even a space for tools and water bottles. A water tank and a front wheel support completes the list of additional equipment.
On the roof Honda has also added a box that increases the cargo space of the Civic Tourer Active. The concept was painted in a unique blue paint and rolls on 18-inch wheels. The blue color is also present in the interior through the trimming and seams.
The power of the concept comes from the Honda 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine. This engine recently broke the Guinness Record in efficiency with average fuel consumption of 2.3l/100km on a 12874km journey.
