have all announced plans to have fuel cell vehicles on sale by around 2015. Hyundai is unveiling a concept fuel cell vehicle called the Intrado, but the public will not be able to see it until the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The concept is made from a new platform that Hyundai claims blends lightweight materials in a new way, and it debuts Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. The concept takes its name from the underside of a wing that produces lift.
“Hyundai Intrado envisages a motoring future that encapsulates the efficiency and freedom associated with flying. I believe in the power of mobility to deliver emotional as well as physical connections and this car helps us find again the joy of discovery. Intrado shows that future cars can be relevant and exciting,” said Hyundai Group President and Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer.
