while testing its 2014 World Endurance Championship LMP1 racer at the Algarve circuit in Portugal.

Porsche has finally revealed that its LMP1 car will use a direct-injected four-cylinder engine with two energy recuperation systems. , Porsche’s LMP1 will also have all-wheel drive.

Webber completed his first test at Algarve and will continue testing the car around the world in 2014. He joins Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas and Neel Jani as the team’s factory driver. The Portuguese test focused on suspension and tire testing. Porsche has already tested the LMP1 car at Magny-Cours, Monza, Paul Ricard and Eurospeedway Lausitz.
