While the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is still running in Detroit, car manufacturers are already announcing their launches to come at the Geneva Motor Show taking place from March 1st to March 13th.
Mazda just announced the debut of a new concept car, the Mazda Minagi Concept, which features an entirely new SKYACTIV technology and new design language of the brand KODO – Soul of Motion. The concept vehicle is a compact SUV and the brand claims it a forerunner for the upcoming generation of Mazda products. The Minagi design language, termed ‘KODO’, embodies energy and vitality developed for an urban environment.
The new SKYACTIV technologies are applied in the concept vehicle’s engine, transmission, bodywork and chassis. Mazda aimed at creating a package of driving experience, efficiency at low weight and high safety standards.
Besides the Minagi concept, Mazda will also showcase the SHINARI design concept car, which makes its European debut, the new SKYACTIV technologies as well as the models Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda5, Mazda6, Mazda MX-5 and Mazda CX-7.
