McLaren Creates Film to Open Abu Dhabi Dealer

has created a film called The Perfect Line at Yas Marina Circuit to open its new dealer in Abu Dhabi. The video shows the MP4-12CMcLaren MP4-12CUnited Kingdom, 2011 > 20006 photos

driving into Abu Dhabi, around the city and then lapping the Yas Marina circuit. It mixes shots from a helicopter and actions shots of the car driving and sliding around. The audio is also quite good. 

“We wanted to produce this video to highlight our presence across the Middle East and reaffirm our commitment to establishing our brand in the region. The 12C is as comfortable on the road as a premium sedan, yet faster than any competitor car in its segment and this excellent video shows this fact; capturing the beauty of the desert, the emotion of the urban environment and the drama of a world famous Formula 1 circuit,” said Mark Harrison, McLaren Middle East Regional Director. 

The film was shot on RED cameras and a pre-release Canon 1DX DSLR camera over a period of six days. The RED camera shoots in a resolution 4 times higher than conventional HD cameras. 

The Abu Dhabi dealer is McLaren's fourth in the Middle East with two more coming soon.
