Mini Teases Third Generation While Filming Canine Commercial

The third generation of the MiniMINI (BMW) MINI VisionGermany, 2013 > 2013 enters production on November 18 at the Plant Oxford in England, and the car will be fully revealed on that day there and in London. Its public debut will come two days later simultaneously at the Tokyo Motor Show and LA Auto Show Until then; Mini is teasing the car filming an ad with an English bulldog and Great Dane.

The first ad will have the bulldog driving around Los Angeles and defending the car from a Great Dane. The ad campaign will air worldwide and is meant to communicate the fun, technology and quirkiness that the latest Mini is meant to offer.

The November 18 reveal is not just the start of production; it is also the 107th birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis, the designer of the original Mini.
