CA-MiEV

The five-door hatchback is meant as an evolution of what Mitsubishi started with the MiEV. It offers 300km (186.4 miles) of electric range and is meant for people who need longer commutes to work. While the car is not going into production, Mitsubishi says that it is a declaration of intent to have a car like this on the road in the coming years.

Power comes from an integrated 107hp electric motor that has the inverter and charger in a single unit. The 28kWh battery pack is flat and allows Mitsubishi the room to add a range-extending internal combustion engine in the future if it needs to. The concept has magnetic resonance charging, which means in theory it could be charged without being plugged in.

The CA-MiEV has a low coefficient of drag of 0.26 thanks to a flat floor, rearview cameras and a rear diffuser.

GR-HEV

The GR-HEV plug-in hybrid pickup truck is Mitsubishi's idea of the future of the truck market and uses an evolution of the powertrain from the Outlander PHEV. It uses a 2.5-liter diesel engine with a front-mounted electric motor and four-wheel drive. It will emit 149g/km of CO2 and be able to carry a one-ton load.
