weighing at 450kg. The EV3 has announced a range of 241km and can be recharged in four hours on the plug placed under the retro style fuel tank cap.

Although performance figures were not officially disclosed, Morgan states that its goal is to keep them within levels of the 3-Wheeler petrol version, which would mean an acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in about 8 seconds. The maximum speed will be limited on the EV3 to 129km/h.

The EV3 is the second electric vehicle being developed by Morgan, but it is the first to receive confirmation that it will be produced. Previously the British brand had unveiled the Plus E at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012.
