NASCAR driver tweet fires up Daytona 500

Social media has made its burst into last night's Daytona 500 race when NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski grabbed his phone and started tweeting on his own account when the race came to an halt following an explosion and fire on the track.

Brad Keselowski (@keselowski) got everyone by surprised when he posted this tweet:

The tweet made a huge sensation and in less than two hours he gained more than 100.000 followers. The picture was taken from inside his car while he was waiting in the racecar traffic jam caused by the huge ball of fire generated from the crash of Juan Pablo Montoya into a safety vehicle mid-race.

imagine what a simple tweet can do. and by the way...why did he have his phone with him? I think many drivers will start bringing their phones as well.

I watched that race for the longest time, and it wasn't worth it!
