New Toyota Camry to be Revealed August 23

The Camry has the reputation among auto enthusiats in the US as being the car for people who hate cars. It is the automotive equivalent to apathy. The buying public has a totally different view; the Camry has been the best selling car in the US for the last nine years in a row and 13 of the last 14 years. It is an automitive institution. There is a lot riding on the success of the new Camry for Toyota.

On Tuesday, August 23, at 10:00 a.m Pacific Time, Toyota will host a live press conference revealing the new Camry. The conference will include a speech by Bob Carter, the Toyota division group vice president and general manager, a live feed of the first 2012 Camry rolling off of the assembly line in Georgetown, Kentuckey, and an annoucement regarding the 2012 Camry in Nascar.
