Porsche Macan Microsite Launches with New Data and Count Down

has officially begun. Porsche had prevoiusly said that the Macan would debut at the LA Auto Show on November 20, but now Porsche has launched a microsite for its newest model. 

Unfortunately, there is not a lot of new info available on the microsite just yet. It goes include two new images of the small SUV that you can see in the gallery and some statements on the philosophy behind the car. 

Porsche claims that the Macan is more than just a compact SUV, but that it is also a sports car with enough room to carry five people and extra cargo room.

"The new Macan – built for an intensive life in which the thirst for experience and thrills and spills are ever-present, Built for a life that refuses to be hemmed in by conventions. A Sports Car that gives us what we're looking for: that feeling of being alive," said Porsche on the microsite to describe the car.

The microsite also includes links to web sites talking about the Macan and links to Porsche's social media sites.

The Macan will go on sale in early 2014 and be built at Porsche's expanded factory in Leipzig.

Porsche also released a teaser video for the Macan that gives a few more brief glimpses of it at the beginning and end.
