team-mate Kimi Raikkonen was fourth.

It didn't start off well for Hamilton that fell to sixth place, while Rosberg held to first place holding off Vettel's challenge into Turn 1. The Mercedes German driver made a series of fastest laps to quickly build a gap between him and the Ferrari duo.

Hamilton had to make his way through Daniel Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas to get himself behind the two Ferraris. He would get ahead of Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen with the two visits to the pitstops.

Daniel Ricciardo finished in fifth place after overtaking Bottas, benefitting for fresher super-soft tyres. Max Verstappen finished seventh passing Sergio Perez on the last moments. Felipe Massa and Nico Hulkenberg completed the top 10.
