has demonstrated its hydrogen fuel cell vehicles at the two-day Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Drive ‘n’ Ride to European Parliament members and other dignitaries in Strasbourg, France.

and Hyundai to agree to launch a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle between 2014 and 2017. Toyota plans to increase its number of hydrogen fueling locations from 14 to 50 by 2015.
“Toyota has been active in fuel cell technology for the last 20 years and we are working to commercialize our next-generation fuel cell car by 2015,” said Michel Gardel, Vice-President of Environment Affairs at Toyota Motor Europe.
Brian Simpson, Chair of the European Parliament’s Transport and Tourism Committee, has organized the event for the last five years.
“The future of European transport is very high on the European Parliament’s agenda. We need to find ways to make our transport system more sustainable and environmentally responsible while contributing to the economic recovery and growth in Europe," said Simpson.
