TRDs to the UK. The car gets a catalog of upgrades from Toyota Racing Development to improve the car's performance. 

The GT86 TRD gets 18in wheels, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, spoiler, quad exhaust and rear diffuser. TRD also adds smaller upgrades like its radiator cap, fuel filler door and gear shift lever. 

The TRD is based on the highest spec GT86 with HID headlights, front fog lights, limited slip differential, dual-zone climate control, aluminum pedals, sport seats, sill plates, cruise control and touchscreen multimedia system.

The changes have no effect on performance. It takes 7.7 seconds to get to 100km/h and a 140mph top speed for the manual, and it takes 8.4 seconds to get to 100km/h with a 130mph top speed for the automatic. The extra body kit increases drag slightly and reduces fuel economy. The GT86 TRD is rated at 34.9mpg UK and 192g/km of CO2 for the manual and 36.2mpg UK and 181g/km of CO2 with the automatic. 

The limited edition will be available starting on March 1 and is available as either a six-speed or an automatic for £31,495 ($49,761 or €37,190) and £32,995($52,124 or €38,962) respectively. The base price for the GT86 is £24,995 ($39,486 or €29,513).

The GT86 has been nominated for as both European and World Car of the Year.
