Volvo and Geely say that they want the new platform to debut in 2015. Before that Geely will launch in the UK to establish showrooms and the name in consumers’ minds. It will wait to launch in continental Europe until the new platform is ready to debut.
Geely says that the marketing of the new cars will lean heavily on Volvo’s reputation for safety and reliability.
