Autobacs Sportscar Laboratory is a division of a larger car parts and accessories franchise, Autobacs Seven, based in Japan. The group exists since 1948, but it only dedicated itself to building cars in 2001 when the group bought Tommy Kaira car manufacturer and renamed it to Autobacs Sportscar Laboratory. The ASL focuses on sport cars. Garaiya was the first car produced by the company and one of its most popular models.
