The new DB9 features the biggest upgrade to the DB9 model since 2003. It received a new front bumper, bright finish radiator grille and a re-shaped lower intake, which features a bright hexagonal mesh. The exterior changes are completed by the new headlight bezels, re-styled sills, silver brake calipers, 20-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels and clear rear light lenses.

The Aston Martin DB9 continues to be powered by the 6.0-litre V12 engine that produces 470hp at 6000rpm and a maximum torque of 600Nm at 5000rpm.  With a top speed of 306 km/h the new DB9 reaches 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds. The engine is matted with a rear mid-mounted six-speed manual transmission.
