This Audi A8 4.2 FSI quattro was launched in 2006. It is the 2nd generation of the luxury model. With a price of $74.550, it is the lowest priced in the range at launch. It is fitted with a 4163cc engine that produces 350 hp at 6800 rpm and a maximum torque of 440 nm. The engine is located at the front. This version operates on petrol doing an average of 10.9 l/100km. This saloon (sedan) reaches the 100km/h mark in 6.10 seconds at a top speed of 250 km/h. The powertrain of the car has been mated with a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of efficiency, it has a combined fuel consumption of 10.9 l/100km and produces 259.0 g/km of CO2.
