First shown as a concept car at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Audi TT is a two-door sports car manufactured since 1998 by the German automaker Audi.

Two generations have already been created for the Audi TT, both of them were available in 2+2 Coupé, or two-seater Roadster body styles. Both generations have been built based on Volkswagen Group's A platform.
