Auto-Union

Germany Germany (1932 - 1964)

about:

The defunct German carmaker Auto-Union consisted on the merging of four previously established car makes: Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer. The joining lasted for more than three decades, until the Volkswagen Group took over it in 1964.

Auto-Union has ultimately been converted to what we know today as the current Audi company, which is still a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.
