The 507 is a 2-seat sports model released by BMW in 1955, in the New Yorker Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
This model was so luxurious that the first owner of a 150hp-powered 507 was actually a high nobility member. Moreover, the list of internationally-known celebrity owners of 507 models also includes Elvis Presley.
Indeed, one can’t deny that its characteristic styling was quite an inspiration for latter BMW roadsters and sports models, such as the Z3 and the Z8.
