Only sold as a four-door sedan, the BMW 7 Series is a full-size luxury car introduced by the German manufacturer BMW in 1977. The model is the favored European government or personal car.

As BMW flagship the 7 Series traditionally introduces technologies and an exterior design theme before BMW implements it on smaller sedans in the lineup.

The BMW 7 Series is currently in its fifth generation.
