BMW Lands Jeff Koons BMW Art Car on a Cliff
BMW M3 GT2 Art Car by Jeff Koons was helicoptered to Pulpit Rock in Norway for a series of promotional photos and video. That involved suspending the car under a helicopter and then having people with ropes maneuver it precisely into position.
The Jeff Koons GT2 was raced just once in the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans where it did not finish the race due to a rear suspension failure caused by a punctured tire. Still, it is just one of 17 BMW art cars ever made and one of a kind.
