Brawn GP Formula One Team was a Formula One racing team and constructor that competed in the 2009 Formula One season. The team settled in Brackley, in the region of Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, was born from a management buy-out of Honda Racing F1 Team. It was founded by former technical director for the Honda Racing F1 Team, Ferrari and Benetton.
After a 2009 season where the team won both driver and constructor championships, the Brawn GP was bought by by their engine supplier, Mercedes-Benz, to become Mercedes GP.
