With a limited production of 500 units, the second model of the modern range of Bugatti is described as the most powerful road car ever. As its power, Chiron also will certainly not be at reach of everyone given the 2.4 million euros that will be required to acquire each unit. With orders already confirmed for a third of production, the first Chiron will be delivered to its owner in autumn.
The model is named after the 20s and 30s driver Louis Chiron, whose greatest victory came in 1931 at the Grand Prix of France driving the Type 51

. According to Bugatti, the Chiron is the first road supercar to bring 1500hp together with a torque of 1600Nm. This is possible thanks to the brand's new W16 8.0 liters engine which was combined with four new larger turbos which are controlled by a new innovative dual-phase turbo system. Furthermore, the engine has undergone other refinements to the one fitted in the Veyron to allow maximum performance but always controlled. The maximum speed is limited in Top Speed mode to 420km/h, however Bugatti ensures that the Chiron can achieve higher speeds. The new model can better performance compared to its predecessor with an acceleration, not yet official, from 0 to 100km/h in less than 2.5 seconds from 0 to 200km/h in less than 6.5 seconds and from 0 to 300km/h in less than 13.6 seconds. Another Bugatti's concern in the development of the Chiron was the control of the vehicle, to ensure maximum pleasure in driving. Thus the supercar gets a new adaptive chassis and tires specially developed for the brand. The Chiron retains many similarities regarding design with the Veyron, despite being a clear evolution of lines of the new model. It retains the central horseshoe-shaped grille, but has a more three-dimensional side with a curved line extending from the pillar to the front wheel arches. It's in therear that there are major design differences with an integrated spoiler, a full-width line of LEDs, large air intakes and the competition central dual exhaust diffuser. In terms of dimensions, the Chiron is almost identical to Veyron. The new Bugatti model is 4544mm long, 2038mm wide and 1212mm high. Compared to the predecessor it is 82mm longer, 40mm wider and 53mm higher.
