Bugatti presented to the public its model Type 35 during the 1924 French Grand Prix, which took place in Lyon, France, on August of that year.
This model has become one of the most successful Bugatti cars, especially in racing but also as a true commercial hit.
Besides being an extremely appreciated car and regarded as one of the finest pre-war racing cars, the Type 35 is actually the most victorious of all Bugatti models so far,
From the original Type 35, Bugatti also produced a few improved derivates along the years: the 35A, 35C, 35T and 35B.
In 1930, when around 343 Bugatti Type 35 units had been built, the company ceased the production run of this model.

Bugatti unveiled its ‘Type 35’ model in 1924 in Lyon, France. Of all the models designed under Ettore Bugatti’s direction, the Type 35 has definitely stood out as the most admirable and mythical Bugatti.
The T35 would be quite a successful racer, in particular the most successful of all Bugatti models, having won more than a thousand races and set countless race records during its active years.
Along its lifetime years, the Type 35 develops and a few versions derive from the original car, namely the cheaper Type 35A (a.k.a. the “Tecla”), the turbocharged Type 35C, the T-for-Targa Type 35T (especially built to compete at the Targa Florio) and the more sophisticated Type 35B.
Bugatti stopped the production of all Type 35s in 1930, with nearly 350 cars built.
