The Grand Sport Vitesse Special Edition is painted Bianco White and New Light Blue to match the 1928 Bugatti Type 37A grand prix racer. The interior is fitted with Cognac-color leather. The car was shown over the weekend at the invitation only  "The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering” during the Pebble Beach concours.

Beyond the color, there is nothing different about this car than a normal Grand Sport Vitesse. It has a 7.9-liter 1200hp W16 engine. Bugatti claims that it is the fastest convertible ever because of its ability to accelerate to 100km/h in 2.6 seconds and a 410km/h top speed (255mph). To make the extra power Bugatti fits larger turbochargers and larger intercoolers to keep the air cool. It also upgrades the driveline components to handle the extra power.
