Bugatti unveiled the fourth special Legends edition of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The version celebrates Rembrandt Bugatti, a famous sculptor and brother of company founder Ettore Bugatti.
For the exterior of the Bugatti Rembrandt Bugatti Legends, the brand painted it in an exclusive bronze carbon color, together with a special chestnut paint finish. The alloy wheels were also painted. The car has Rembrandt Bugatti's own signature laser-engraved on the fuel filler flap.
Inside, the special version of the Veyron was lined in brown leather, while between the rear seats a bronze reproduction of one of the most famous works of Rembrandt Bugatti, the elephant to dance, was fitted. Other vehicle finishes were introduced in platinum and the signature of Rembrandt was also placed on the door sills.
According to Bugatti, the bronze sculptures created by Rembrandt Bugatti were the main inspiration for the color palette chosen for the new version.
The Rembrandt Bugatti Legends is equipped with the same 8.0-liter W16 engine from the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, with a power output of 1200hp and 1500Nm of torque. The vehicle is able to accelerate to 100km/h in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 419km/h.
Just like the Jean Bugatti, Jean-Pierre Wimille and Meo Constantini editions, only three units of the Rembrandt Bugatti edition are to be produced.
