In early 2011 Cadillac revealed a special edition of its high-performance model CTS-V. The Black Diamond Edition reaches the markets in spring 2011 and features popular performance options and exclusive tri-coat paint, with the same name.

Available in the CTS-V Sedan, Coupe and Wagon versions the Black Diamond Edition is the first car of an automaker to use in the CTS-V Sedan, Coupe and Wagon JDSU’s proprietary SpectraFlair pigment in North America. The dark tri-coat paint that is used on the Black Diamond Edition has a diamond-like sparkle because of the use of aluminum flakes encapsulated in a glass-like substance called magnesium fluoride.

All body variants of the CTS-V Black Diamond Edition are powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine with 556-horspower. They are available as both, manual and automatic versions.
