The Calthorpe car company was based in Birmingham, England, where it produced its automobiles between 1904 and 1932. Formerly a bicycle producer, Calthorpe’s car sales dramatically declined in the late 1920’s and eventually the company gave up on the production of its rather expensive vehicles.
