Introduced in the market in 2010, the Chevrolet Aveo LS is the 1st generation of the subcompact model. At a cost of $11.965, it marks the entry-level of the line-up. Powered by a 1598cc engine, this version has a power output of 108 hp. The Aveo LS stands out from the rest of the model variants, since it is the most powerful in the series line-up. This front wheel drive version has a manual transmission with a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of efficiency, the vehicle's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 7.84 l/100km. CO2 emissions are becoming increasingly more important in car’s efficiency. The subcompact variant is the most eco-friendly car of this series. It produces the least amount CO2 emissions. This subcompact-version features rack & pinion steering, at the front it wears disc brakes and at the rear drum brakes. This car is a 4-door saloon (sedan) version of the Aveo, which seats up to 5 passengers.
