The Citroën Berlingo is a panel van and leisure activity vehicle on the market since 1996. The vehicle has a front-engine front-wheel drive layout and is based on the Citroën ZX/Peugeot 306 estate floorpan and mechanicals.
Launched in 1996, a revised version was introduced in 2002 and a second generation of the Berlingo reached the markets in 2008. The Berlingo II is based on PSA's Platform 2 and is slightly larger the first series model.
