The P17 Kegresse was another modified vehicle from Citroën that would go on an adventure to prove its durability.
On April 4th, 1931, the team lead by Georges-Marie Haardt and Louis Audouin-Dubreuil began the trip with six P17 vehicles in Beirut, heading for a 20.000 km journey to Asia. Another group with seven vehicles was to begin their jouney in Tien Tsin and both groupls would meet in the Himalaya.
The expediation reached Beijing in February 1932, but after Georges-Marie Haardt died on March 16th near Hongkong, the teams returned to France via boat.
