The Type A was the first model produced by the French manufacturer Citroën. It was a light, medium-sized car, developed by Jules Salomon. Weighting about 800 kg, the vehicle reached a top speed of 65 km/h, powered by a water-cooled four-cyclinder 1327cc engine that produced an output of 18hp.
Production lasted from 1919 until 1921 and 24.093 units were produced in total.
