First introduced in 2007 this Daihatsu Sirion 1.0 is part of Sirion's 2nd generation, with the code name II. Powered by a 998cc engine, the model variant has a power output of 70 hp. When compared to other versions in this generation, the hatchback is fitted with the smallest engine. The powertrain of the hatchback has been mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The performance of this vehicle is reflected on the top speed of 160 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 13.9 seconds. This subcompact-version produces 118 g/km of CO2 emissions. It has a combined fuel consumption of 5.0 l/100km. This version of the Sirion is the most fuel-efficient out of the series range. It is in fact the one with lowest fuel consumption. It has a boot volume of 225 l. Although it can be extended by lowering the back seats.
