The conglomerate IAME ,Industrias Aeronáuticas y Mecánicas del Estado was founded in 1951, in Córdoba, Argentina, and dedicated to the manufacture of a large range of products such as aircrafts, automobiles and agricultural machinery. In 1956 a spin-off gave origin to Dinfia (Dirección Nacional de Fabricaciones e Investigaciones Aeronáuticas) which object was the production of low cost cars based in European models. Some of its models became quite popular such as the Justicialista and Graciela.
